Rendering Platforms

The floorplanner platform has been in the industry and the “go-to” for quite sometime! They feature not only 2D rendering but 3D as well, and truly is an easy to use platform with low amount of learning needed to get going!

Sketchup has become a bit popular amongst the industry with its friendly and rather sexy user-interface. But it packs a punch when it comes to rendering and its capabilities. You can create a home design and use 3D visualization to get an accurate idea of space planning.

Remember in design school you had to touch this program? It’s extremely robust and expensive. If you don’t need this many tools it’s probably not worth your investment of over $2k a year. However, for the pros who do huge projects and need the tools, there is no platform that can beat Revit!
